Doubleclicking the AG Color Select tool in the toolbox, or pressing the Enter key when the tool is selected will bring up the AG Color Select preferences dialog:

When enabled, sampling colors when zoomed in by more than 200% will be more accurate (but may cause an initial delay after zooming or if there is selected artwork on the screen). By default this setting is off.
When enabled (the default), the color currently being sampled will be continuously displayed next to the cursor in a small “chip”. When dragging the tool with the mouse button down, the setting can be toggled by pressing the the D key.
Available when Display Preview is on. The default placement of the preview “chip” is on the right side of the cursor, but this setting allows it to be moved to the left instead.
When enabled (the default), tip text is displayed next to the cursor when pressing modifier keys to remind you of their functions.
Shows a brief description of each preference control when the cursor is being hovered over it.
Opens the help documentation in the Astute Manager. If this does not automatically appear, please ensure your Astute Manager is running first.
